Valmont
The Valmont Chalet in the White Carpathian mountains offers accommodation for visitors to the Lopeník region.The tourists have the opportunity of booking rooms in the reconstructed mountain chalet, which is situated in the White Carpathians Protected Area, close to the Slovak frontier. Using numerous nature trails throughout the country, the visitors may get acquainted with a large number of gorgeous nature spots of the White Carpathian mountains.
The accommodation capacity of the chalet involves 51 beds altogether (31 beds and 20 extra beds).
There are double bedrooms in the chalet ,with separate bathrooms and toilets. The tourists have also the possibility of booking extra beds. In the chalet, there is also a restaurant, a bar and a summer terrace.In front of the chalet, there is a sports ground, a fireplace and a reconstructed swimming pool. The near-by fish pond is situated at a distance of cca 4 kilometres from the chalet. The surrounding parts of the Valmont chalet are suitable for organizing trips and tours throughout the picturesque countryside or for picking mushrooms.As far as the winter sports are concerned, there is also a ski lift close to the chalet (300 metres long). Five other ski lifts are located on Mikulčin Vrch ( at a distance of 2 kilometres from the Valmont Chalet). The land is suitable for cross-country skiing too.
