INTAKRYL - acrylic dispersion paints for interiors -


INTAKRYL is a single-component paints which can be diluted by water. They contain co-polymeric acrylic dispersion as a binder, pigments, dispersing and biocidal substances and other additives suitably adjusting the paint properties. It show a very good adhesion to the basic material (over 0.25 MPa), good abrasion resistance both in dry and wet conditions and a long lifetime. All adjacent structures contaminated by the pain shall be cleaned with water immediately. Owing to quick drying and high adhesion the dried paint may be later removed only by mechanical means. After drying the painted areas are washable by water with addition of ordinary cleaning agents.

Use: They are designed for realization of esthetic surface coats of walls and ceilings in interiors with very good coverage and whiteness creating matte surface finishes.

Surfaces: Suitable base materials are classic indoor plasters, concrete, asbestos-cement, cement-board and plasterboard sheets, paper and textile wallpapers, and other building materials.

Surface preparation: The paints are applied on a sufficiently solid and consistent basic material free of dust and greasy impurities. Old coatings need to be removed in advance. Absorbing basic materials shall be treated with PRIMER.

Paint application: The paints are applied on the basic material using the application roller, paintbrush or sprayer usually in two layers. The minimum interval between individual applications is 2-5 hours depending on the drying speed. If needed the paints may be diluted by water - up to 10% wt.
The minimum application temperature is +15 °C. Indicative consumption for 2 layers is 0.3 - 0.5 kg/m2.

Tinge: INTAKRYL paints are usually delivered in a white hue or in saturated color hues according to the manufacturer’s specimen file. White INTAKRYL may be tinted using color INTAKRYL or ordinary pigment pastes designed for coloring of water-based systems. We do not recommend to tint the product using powder paints.

Theoretical spreading rate: 3 - 5 m2 from 1 kg per coating

Packaging and storing: Plastic packages with weight of 1,5 - 45 kg. The product is to be stored in original packages at the temperature ranging from +5 to +25 °C, minimum storage life of 12 months after the production date. The enamel must not freeze.

Safety and hygiene: Follow the personal hygiene principles, protect skin wit protective hand cream. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them with stream of clean water, in serious cases seek a medical treatment.
